One of the many services
of the MTC Bookstores is accommodating students to purchase their textbooks and
school supplies/equipment by financial assistance that they have been awarded
through Midlands Technical College or an outside sponsor agency. In most cases,
it is mandated that student charges be performed within a specified time period
in order for the college to report and disburse balances that have and have not
been used by a student in the MTC Bookstores.
Proper identification must be presented when utilizing student financial charge
accounts in the MTC Bookstores (i.e., a valid state driver's license, Midlands
Technical College Student Identification Card and etc). Only the student
named on the downloaded account to the MTC Bookstores' "Point Of Sale" System
can make charges for textbooks and supplies/equipment using financial assistance
awards. (There are no exceptions to this policy).
We highly recommend that students bring all documentation pertaining to their
financial assistance award to the MTC Bookstores, if they are not certain that
funds are available when they decide to use their charge accounts for textbooks
and supplies/equipment.
Our staff can assist any student about
information regarding their account status during regular business
hours of the bookstores, but it is recommended that you contact your
financial aid advisor before shopping for your school needs. |
